- I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I was raised in a big city in Florida but have lived in the mountains of western North Carolina for over 30 years. When I was in my late 20's,the Lord Jesus Christ radically changed my heart. I was a child of the 60's and had plunged into the "hippie culture" of drugs and immorality. A friend who had turned his life around loved us enough to share Jesus with us. Since then I have lived with a grateful heart for His presence in my life. He cleansed me from the inside out. He gave me a new heart and that old lifestyle melted away. He set about healing me from the rejection and woundings of living in a fallen world.It is my delight to share the things that I have learned in my journey with Him. I am still very much a work in progress. Thank you for your patience.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Carol. It is great to be reminded that no matter what God calls upon us to do sometimes that we are trust in and do as he asks and he will be with us. You always touch my heart in a special way. I'll be back to see what is going on soon. This weekend we are taking Keith over to Black Mountain to Montreat College to take a look at it and see if he would like to go there and also Keith is trying out for their basketball team. Keep us in your prayers please for the safety of our trip and for God to show Keith favor and most importantly that God will show Keith is plans for him. Love you oodles and gobs ~ Renee` W.
